This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it and how we protect it. By using our services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Section 01

We do not collect information about you that is not relevant to the services you have requested.

Section 02

How We Use Your Information

The information we collect is used solely for the purpose of delivering our tailoring services to you. Specifically, we use your information to:

  • Manage your commission, including recording measurements, design details and agreed timelines
  • Contact you regarding your order, including fitting appointment scheduling, collection notifications and any queries related to your garment
  • Process and confirm payments for your commission
  • Respond to enquiries, complaints or requests you have raised with us
  • Maintain records of past commissions in the event you return to us for a future order

We do not use your personal information for marketing communications unless you have explicitly agreed to receive them. We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Section 03

Measurements and Sensitive Information

measurements are among the most personal pieces of information a tailoring boutique holds. At Amirat Al Khaleej, we treat measurement records with the highest level of discretion. Your measurements are:

  • Taken privately by a female member of our team in our dedicated fitting space
  • Recorded only for the purpose of producing your garment and retained for future orders if you wish
  • Never shared with any third party under any circumstances
  • Stored securely and accessible only to the tailors directly involved in producing your commission

If you would like your measurement records deleted from our files, you may request this at any time by contacting us directly. We will confirm deletion within a reasonable timeframe.

Section 04

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not share your personal information with third parties except in the following limited circumstances:

  • Legal obligation: If we are required by law, regulation or a court order to disclose your information, we will do so only to the extent required and will notify you where possible
  • Service providers: In the rare case where a specialist service is required to complete part of your commission (such as a specialist embroiderer), only the minimum information necessary to complete that specific task will be shared, and that party is bound by confidentiality

In all other circumstances, your personal information remains strictly within Amirat Al Khaleej and is not disclosed to any outside party.

Section 05

Data Retention

We retain client records, including contact information, measurement records and commission details, for as long as is reasonably necessary to manage ongoing client relationships and to comply with any legal obligations.

Clients who have not placed a commission with us for a period of three years may have their records archived or deleted. If you would like your records deleted before this period, please contact us and we will process your request promptly.

Section 06

Photography and Social Media

We occasionally photograph completed garments for use on our social media channels and marketing materials. We will never photograph a client or share any image that identifies you personally without your explicit written consent.

If we photograph a garment you have commissioned and wish to share that image, we will ask for your permission beforehand. You may decline at any time without affecting the service you receive from us. If you have previously given consent and later wish to withdraw it, please contact us and we will remove the relevant content.

Please note: Images of garments shared on our social media are used purely to showcase our craftsmanship and do not include any information that identifies the client who commissioned the piece.

Section 07

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the personal information we hold from unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Client records are stored securely and access is limited to members of our team who need the information to carry out their work.

While we take care to protect your information, no method of storage or transmission is completely secure. If you have concerns about the security of your personal information, please contact us directly.
