Jalabiya and Kaftan Size and Measurement Guide

The best fit comes from measuring in our shop, but you can measure at home in about 10 minutes and send the numbers on WhatsApp. You need a soft measuring tape and someone to help.

Before you start

  • Wear light clothing, or the dress you will wear underneath. This matters for a thobe (soube).
  • Stand straight with your feet together and your arms relaxed.
  • Keep the tape snug but not tight, and measure in centimetres.

Readymade sizes

Readymade pieces come in standard sizes. Check your bust and full length against the size label in store. If the length is too long, ask us about shortening it.

Tips

  1. Send a full-length photo with your numbers. It helps us check proportions.
  2. Send body measurements, not dress measurements. We add the right room for each style.
  3. Ordering for someone else? Lay a dress that fits her well flat, measure it, and send those numbers with a note.
  4. Unsure? Visit us. Measuring takes about 10 minutes and is included with every custom order.
